About Me
Schermerhorn Law is a litigation practice devoted to matters that demand strategic judgment, deep procedural knowledge, and disciplined advocacy. I’m brought in when the stakes are high, the briefing needs to be excellent, or the procedural posture demands careful judgment—from dispositive motions and class certification to appeals, and mass arbitration. I can step in at any stage, from early strategy through trial and post-trial proceedings.
How I Help
-
Appellate briefing & argument (state and federal)
-
Dispositive motions (12(b), summary judgment, Daubert, jurisdiction/standing)
-
Class certification (briefing, evidence plan, record development, expert strategy)
-
Mass arbitration strategy (briefing, procedural architecture, appeals)
-
Writing support as co-counsel (ghostwriting where permitted, or appearance counsel)
Engagement
I typically work as co-counsel or on a limited-scope basis. If you have a case that needs serious briefing, a second set of eyes on procedural strategy, or an oral argument you want handled cleanly, let’s talk.

What You Get
-
Large-firm caliber writing without the large-firm inefficiency
-
Direct access—you work with me
-
A candid, collaborative approach that fits the way trial teams actually operate
Experience & Credentials
I’ve served as co-lead class counsel in multiple class actions, including successful statewide certification proceedings and settlements in both state and federal court. I’ve also handled extensive briefing in mass arbitration proceedings and argued matters before multiple federal judges and appellate courts.
